The next place to visit will be the Valley of Roses, passing through the palm groves of Skoura, a wonderful place to contemplate the more than 700,000 palm trees and the many kasbahs built in the surrounding area. After breakfast, we will enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Dades Valley from one of the strategic viewpoints in the mountains. After a few stops along the way, we will reach Todra Gorges. The scenery here is spectacular. Local people live in the area and can be seen in their adobe villages. Due to their rocks with many uneven surfaces, these gorges are popular among rock climbers. After a short walk in the Todra Gorges, we will have free time for lunch in Tinjdad or Touroug, and then we will continue into the desert ‘Merzouga.’ There we will ride our camels through the magic dunes (Erg Chebbi), and admire the sunset on top of the dune.
